It's a give and take, when you're on the bike everyone is trying to kill you. Overt paranoia or not I'm of the opinion that is the only logical way to keep yourself as safe as possible. He's got it screwed on until nearly the fatal moment, as was mentioned the car was not anticipating the bike to come at him at near double the posted limit.

Above all its on us, I know its easy to say, but we have to expect that they don't see us and take predations, like reducing speed when we see the potential for a SMIDSY developing up the road, as was here...

96mph is not safe or sane speed for any bike in any country. I always assume that some moron will do the wrong move and be prepared.
