Touring the City.

Finally had a whole day to cruise my D390. About 8:30am I warmed up the steel horse and headed towards the beach on Geary where i rolled down to the Sea Cliff with the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop. Absolutely gorgeous with no traffic. Did some loops around Lake Merced then stopped at Joe's of Westlake to meet some friends for lunch. Afterwards, i criss-crissed the whole City to Baker's Beach and continued down over to Crissy Fields to pick up some gear at Sports Basement. When i finally got home i spent the next hour checking the tires, fluids and chain. Then i sipped some whiskey, prepared the xmas tree for the holidays and read a good book. **** it was a hella nice day.

My hat is off to you SF riders. Between the traffic, one-way streets, trolley tracks and steep hills to park on it seems pretty intimidating to me. But that's just the opinion of a Sierra foothillsbilly.

"The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair." -- Douglas Adams, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
