Wink Adding bar end mirror next to the throttle

Hello everyone,

I've installed a new CRG LS 3.2 bar end mirror last week and had to remove a small portion from the middle of the grip to do so on the left side of the handlebar. Pic attached below.
Since the right grip is the throttle, I'll have to move it a little to the left to install the new mirror at the end of the handlebar. Does anyone has any relevant experience?

Thanks in advance,
E.

I don't see the picture and I have different mirrors, but the previous owner just put some washers in between the mirror and the bars to space it out a bit and give the grip some room instead of moving the grip.

I also installed some different bar-end mirrors the other day. I used a washer on both side to get past the issues on my 2017 390 ..had to get shorter screws as well since i was utilizing the factory threaded hole that were there once you removed the bar-end weights.

I'd rather not use washers as they lengthen the handlebar even further. Is there an option to move the controls+throttle?
Do you also not see the picture? attaching here as well...

I can see your picture now! In my case with the 2017 it was harder to move the throttle / controls / grip than it was to just add a washer ..the amount of length your adding to the bar is very minimal ..just enough to allow the throttle to twist and return freely. In my case the 2017 has drive by wire so the throttle / controls looked to be one piece.. looked to me maybe the throttle slides onto the bars only but so far in.

@DuffMan757 brilliant, cheers! Those look great btw and adding the washer does indeed sound a lot more simple, seems like it's the way to go for bar-ends.

What size washer did you use and how is the vibration without the stock bar end weight?
