I was looking at the Akrapovic but it costs Ł500
This looks like a copy, l wonder if anyone on here has tried one? It’s about 15% the price!

Even says “Akrapovic” on the side, blacked out on the listing for some reason, l wonder if they are made in the same factory.

I wonder if Akrapovic know about this?

Aside from the fake label it doesn’t even look like the real thing. You get what you pay for. If you want cheap and loud just stubbie the OEM end can. It will be cheaper than that fake exhaust and sound just as good.

Point taken and l guess you are both correct.

I will save up for the genuine Akrapovic end can.

What are you expecting to win? Exhaust tuning is a science that involves significant development time. I can guarantee it will be louder.

To be honest that’s what l thought. I needed new levers for my Duke as the stock ones didn’t adjust close enough to the bars.

After trying the KTM ones (UKŁ160) and the Puig ones (UKŁ100) which didn’t adjust any closer
I ordered some from China which cost UKŁ16 for the pair.
They are superb, beautifully made and work great.

Most of these parts are made in China anyway.

If the Chinese exhaust can is no good, you can return it (although it may not be worth the effort)

In the meantime l think the standard exhaust looks a lot better without the metal heat shield, which doesn’t even sit straight when fitted.
I just need to get the bracket removed.
