On my 2018 I can access the screen and cycle through the milage to what appears to set it.....didn't try it though...it was at 300 I believe...I'll need to look again.

In anothervtheeas I mention the ktm service guy supposedly ser it to 50,000 miles, howd he do that and why cant we?

2018 Duke 390, just over 200 miles. No awesome mods yet...

You can set it to whatever you want.

But for me the question is whether it also triggers on date. If it doesnít then itís pretty pointless.

Interesting...mine only goes to 4500 miles and it shows next service at 9000 miles....I wanted it eliminated....I can keep track of my servicing...

On the first-gen Dukes it is not date/time related, don't see why it would be on the later version. As you remarked; it'd be pointless.

As long as you are happy with what you ride.

It is triggered at one year if you don't hit the mileage. Remember that the service schedule is time OR mileage, not just mileage.

I'm not sure if this is accurate Whiskey?
The manual does say that service intervals are x km's OR time based, but I don't believe the dash actually does anything else than km's/miles.
Time could present an issue if you disconnect the battery for say 6 months, or?

I promise you that it's accurate, at least on the 2018/19. If you go in the menu it shows mileage and time to service.

Thanks for this info.
I just purchased a used 2017 390 Duke.
The SERVICE light was on even though it only has 141 miles on it.
Turns out, it was on because of being over 12 months.

I see the same info as above.... I can advance the km but that is all. The date (12 months) is not accessible.
