How to reset service milage on 2017 390 Duke

Morning all
Info for those of you that have done your own servicing and need to reset the service milage interval (this is for a 2017 390 Duke) :-

While bike is stationary
Go into the bike menu and use up + down buttons until "preferences" is shown
Press and hold the up + down buttons at the same time for about 3 seconds and this opens the service menu
Use up + down until milage is marked , pressing the set button now increases the milage / kilometers in intervals of 500
Press the back button to come out of the menu's

Good to know!! Especially for after warranty period and self servicing. I'll try this on my 2018 and see if it works. Regards!

Works on mine. I took my bike in for service and was a bit early getting in. Since the light wasn't on they forgot to reset it, so I did it myself. Lots of reasons you might need to get in there.

I could have sworn I found this on here as a sticky when I did it. If not, it should be. Thanks for sharing.

Just looked and I don't think this is stickied anywhere. Hey, mods, how about moving this to the "Service and Maintenance" section and giving it a sticky so people can find it in the future?

Is this not in the second-gen manual?
It is in the 2012 and 2015 manuals for, obviously, the earlier display.

As long as you are happy with what you ride.

Rtfm

Kind of what I expected from a world-class manufacturer such as KTM.
No need for stickies here.

Page 89 shows how to open the service page to check when the next service is due. I see no instructions in the owners manual for resetting the service interval.

It is however on page 148 of the 2017 repair manual which can be found on the forum.

True. No reset instructions in the Ď19 owners manual either.
