KTM Lied To Me

I've been driving my 2017 Duke 390 for a month now.

I'm convinced it's a 650cc motorcycle !!!

If you get above 60mph you start to remember that it's a 390. As long as you stay below that, it performs great.

Glad you're enjoying the ride.

The engine is very strong for a 390cc

My last bike was a Z1000 and the KTM while obviously slower than that, doesn’t feel lacking.

It's that new math.

If you are cruising at, let's say, 120km/hr and you want to accelerate fast it misses a bit of lung...
I'd say city is its natural habitat. Higways of long open roads, it gets there, but no more than that.
But, don't get me wrong, it is very very good considering the 373cc of displacement.

Cheers
