More pictures coming soon from @RandallPhoto!!!

I've been a proud Duke owner for over a year now, put 10,000mi on a used '15 I bought with 8500mi on it. Trailered it home from AZ to Los Angeles as my first bike ever! P/O put some upgrades on it: touring windscreen, rear sliders, handguards, but I put in A LOT more:

racing pegs
foldable/adjustable levers
Cyclops H4 bulb
tail bag
Pilot Road 4's
galfer front wave disc
HH sintered brake pads
ergo seat
touratech iPhone mount
double USB outlet
AntiGravity battery

...and probably more that I can't even remember.

I've tracked my duke a few time and absolutely loved it! Unfortunately I had massive engine failure at 16,000mi but KTM sent me a brand new (2016) engine free of charge.

I originally wanted the black version, but since I bought used and saved a lot of $$$, I figured I could 'make it black' later on. So that's exactly what I did! I was inspired by a reddit post to cover my bike in pictures of cats. My degree in graphic design made the process easier, but I have never tried to trace a 3D object for a 2D wrap, and have less experience with print than just digital design. But I found an AMAZING WRAP ARTIST, Jessee Powell who pulled this off and made my design come to life! I wrapped some parts of the bike in just 3M Gloss Ember Black (front fender, headlight mask, hand guards, plastic side pieces below the seats).

Next up: installing PCV, quickshifter and autotune! Also, custom plate is on order. follow @iamktmeow for more updates!

Nice bike mate. How on earth did you get KTM to step up on a new motor? I'd love to hear the details.

Welcome

Sweet job on the KTM.

Impressive glamour shots. What camera and lenses are you using? I shoot landscape and architecture. My human shoots just come out flat.

I didnt have to do anything, I just took the bike to my preferred dealer and told them I wanted the bike fixed, at almost any cost (thinking up to 2k, but really hoping for less than 1k) because I LOVE this bike and would have to spend more than that to replace it. The engine should not have failed so KTM simply offered me a new engine so long as I paid for the repair work (totally worth it). I'm planning on upgrading to the 790 but I know I can't get my hands on one for at least a year.

This photo is from my iPhone 6s. The trick is that it was shot out in the desert with some of the most gorgeous lighting, close to sunset. Even better photos to come soon from a DSLR.

If you're referring to @randallPhoto's instagram, that's not me, but I think he uses a Nikon and a few different lenses (50mm/65mm/???)
