New to KTM bikes, impressed!

I've just got a 390 Duke virtually mint for a good price and so far I am totally impressed.
Super smooth gearbox and clutch. Quiet and pretty responsive.
Had a BMW G310....bad choice!
Commute 5 miles to work and back, got a top box and screen off Ebay.
Having lowering kit fitted soon as I like to put my feet on the ground (I'm only 5' 6").

Welcome to the boards. The G 310 is a decent bike, but it actually feels and performs like a rip off of the 390. Not worth the BMW badge. Enjoy the Katoom, do post some pictures.

Cheers!

Interesting to know what was wrong with the BMW as l nearly bought one.

How does it compare with the Duke 390?
On YouTube comparison road test both bike score well but the Duke edges it.

Welcome aboard!

I test rode the 310 and liked the Duke far better.
