i will give them a try. the item fits both 200 and 390 engines.

some reviews for drz owners said that they have seen some better performance, mostly at low rpms.

it is believed also that there are better from iridium
quoting my self cause its an old post. I d never expected to see any difference by using just a spark plug, especialy at low rpms. I think i felt the difference better because i have 15/39 sprockets (OEM 14/42). Deffinately i am gonna use this spark plug again.

Can you tell me more on the cooler fan you installed from kinetic tiagene?
As, where I live it seems virtually impossible to get the SPAL Italian designed replacement all of North America is talking about.
Might give this a go.
Thanks.
Nothing more to be said it tends to wither away in a couple of years or so. SPAL is also not available in india, though they have got a branch they do not produce that particular product. So have to live with K Tiagene.

I have been using NGK Iridiums LKAR8 AI 9 since a few months and a few thousand kms. Did long rides too. It did reduce a little bit of stiffness from the engine. Misfiring notes are gone. No issues till now.

Hi Partha Saikia,
If interested, I have emailed SPAL factory in Italy, they do not sell directly but got redirected to their distributor in China (that did not have "our" fan in stock.
Then another email from Italy with the details of their German distributor where I ordered 5 fans that will arrive in Thailand on the 24th.
Very interesting if you want to replace the OEM with a SPAL fan.
Buhr Industrieberatung und -vertrieb GmbH
The product code is: VA31-A101-46A 12V Axialluefter (3010.3011) 130mm

The price in Germany is Eur 45.50/each.

Worth a try

after about 200 miles with this sparkplug i noticed also more mpg. Brisk claimed that their plug does that so i confirm their claim.

Thanks for the Information. But it is a costly option i rather stick to K tiagene. also the import duty is not so friendly.

Review of LKAR8 AI9 NGK laser iridium spark plug!!

After using the NGK laser iridium spark plug LKAR8 AI9 for about 1 & half years it was time for a service & thus so be it. Opened the spark plug and to my astonishment it was really in a healthy state after using it under aggressive revs & day long tiring rides. Will be posting pics for the same. The heat range is just right and much better than the Bosch VR5 NE. Neither did i have to clean it as it was clean enough to be reused. Really a satisfaction.

Regards,

Partha

This remains an interesting issue (I think).
Besides the Bosch VR5NE, VR5NEU, the Brist ? and NGK LKAR8A-9 (KTM No: 78039093000) and LKAR8AI-9 on the RC forum someone is also using NGK 1406 (DILKAR7B-11) and NGK 93026 (DILKAR8A-8).
Just to make things even more confusing ha ha ha.

It does appear though that, as earlier in this thread mentioned, the heat range (8 NGK) will dispatch equally being it a (copper core) Nickel tip or the (copper core) Iridium tip plug.

The DILKAR7B-11 seems to be more in the heat range as the OEM Bosch VR5NE

It seems though that many Dukers are running the NGK LKAR8AI-9 plug now for some time so I guess (seeing the exchanging the plug on our bikes being somewhat difficult) this is the way to go on a standard/unaltered Duke 390/200/125
