'22 RC 390 seat question

Loving the bike so far but I do have one gripe, which is the seat. Overall I actually don't find it uncomfortable except that the two front corners of the seat kind of dig into my thighs, especially when I'm squeezing the tank with my legs when breaking, ect. I haven't seen/heard anyone else complain about this so maybe I'm just weird lol. Anybody else experience this?

What year and bike do you have? and pictures would help as **** as maybe what type pants you wear riding.

Not an RC owner - so no idea of your slight issues i'm afraid. Do KTM do a Powerparts option that's any different ?
Or could you get a local upholsterer to re-shape and re-finish to sort your issues ?

If it's anything like my Duke 390 - the underneath 'front' of the seat slots into two 'poles' located on the bike. Are you saying its too wide at this point - hence the rubbing ?

How you finding the 22 RC by the way ? This your 1st 390 of any type / to compare to ?

They do have a powerparts ergo seat option that I might try, but it looks to be a about the same shape so I don't know how much better it will be. Here's some pics so you can better see what I mean - I had a Kawi Z400 and this same part of the seat was flush with the tank so you couldn't feel it at all, but as you can see on the RC the corners are not flush. It's not horribly unbearable or anything but it does start to get a little uncomfortable especially on longer rides and it just seems like an odd design choice to me. Other than that I'm absolutely loving it.

I see you should be able to take that to seat guy and they could reshape it for you. Or do it yourself. You tube how to are your friends there.

How does it compare to your z400. The ninja400 is meant to be far superior but is there much in it?
