I feel it's abnoxiously loud. I push my bike 100m to the main street to warm up my bike. It will wake the neighbors. And the driver ought to use hearing protection. It's safe as heck because everyone hears you coming. But I've given up on trying to dampen the decibels.

No, rear pegs must come off.

Not necessarily true. AR sell a bracket to fit the footpegs. Not tried it so can’t comment on how well it works.
