I want another clutch lever, that doesn't have the micro switch slot in it. I've seen people simply tuck the switch behind the headlight leaving it permanently in the "on" position, while others are reporting that this causes uneeven idling and even random stalling issues.

So I would like to run a little informal survey, if you have tried having the clutch switch permanently in the "on" position - what is your experience?

If you feel like it, please elaborate in the comments.

My own Duke 390 is a 2018 model.

No issues. Unless the switch is faulty there isn’t really much logic to such faults because they would happen during normal riding when the clutch lever is pulled.

Doesn't make a difference. The only con to this, perhaps your bike will crank irrespective of neutral or in-gear which you should keep in mind every time you fire her up. It isn't a capital offense, is it :)
