Yeah apparently so. I’m gonna have another go at it this weekend, probably in the morning or late evening when it’s a bit cooler and I’ve not been riding the bike causing heat and thus expansion of the metallic bits.

I take it you are running the same muffler and midpipe as me? Any other mods you’ve done? I ordered a booster plug to hopefully richen up the air/fuel ratio a bit to help smooth out the surging at lower rpm/speeds. Too bad I never got it though, DHL lost it during shipping somewhere between Texas and Denmark and are “investigating” it. If they don’t come through then I may look into one of the easy bike evo’s or a PCV.

Yes, I run the Booster Plug and the 1fngr open air box lid. The lid adds a lot to the sound of Remus. (Do NOT run Open airbox AND aftermarket air filter like K&N... that will make it lean.) I think the Booster Plug compensates well for Remus and airbox lid.

The Coober lid? Looks like it has a filter on it. Do you just use that as a lid/filter or use it in conjunction with the OEM filter?

With the oem airfilter. You just swap the open lid(with the foam) against the closed lid, but leave the airfilter in it.
