Anyone have any feedback on these, or dyno sheet proving their +6 hp gains?? Also curious what happens after the stock rev limiter, since the PowerTronic lets me set it to my liking. Price is a bit spendy, but the added HP could actually be beneficial, I wouldn't find the need to wring it's neck as much with the added hp.... LOL, yeah right!

Can’t actually speak to these camshafts, but I know that the company was called out in the past for making big promises on their 390 cam kit and failing to deliver. Including holding a customer’s bike for months with no progress beyond an initial dyno pull.
It may have been on the RC390 forum, but shouldn’t be too hard to find.

I would really like to see a quality 390 cam option though. I haven’t found anyone else currently offering a kit that would broaden the power curve past 9k. Making companion upgrades like titanium valves, retainers, etc. kind of pointless beyond “while you’re in there” peace of mind.

I’m sure a fully built, potentially 3mm overbored 390 could make 60+ BHP, but without a cam upgrade, it isn’t likely to be usable.

Personally, I’ve got a Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 that I’d love to see keeping up with the 650’s…
Really embarrass those “No sub-500cc bikes allowed” elitist clubs.

Do you recall whom made the springs? I would bet that an equivalently specced model could be found. I would reach out to Chad, but I haven’t seen any activity from his accounts in over a year.
No information on the manufacturer. I know it was produced and sold to several companies. I wish I knew as I am also looking for a set.

In order to have an opinion about a cam you have to know stock cam duration and lift so you can compare. Usually 15 percent more in lift and duration with proper fuel adjustment can add about 10 % power. So that make about 5 HP more at duke.

@shush319 @duke200

I checked their latest site/ page and found that they have added item specs:

KTM RC 390 radius follower cam set with gears
.257"/.257" lift, 236°/236° duration, .006"/.006" clearance
2015-23 years model fitment

Spec were listed in the screenshot I originally posted, looks like duration changed though....... They are cheaper now also

These NMW folks are pretty famous for their 2 stroke drag bikes, I'm not sure how competent they are with 4 strokes.

I found a video with the 390 camshafts, it looks like they have different options regarding decompressor and duration/lift. Maybe its worth prodding them and see if they can share specs of all the variants they have.
