I bought a used master cylinder, will be arriving tomorrow. I can't just take the push rod off the cylinder that comes in and put it in my bike? I'm not very familiar with the brake arm and don't want to pay someone to do it.
If same part ordered you should be able to remove the push rod from the new part and that way you wouldn't need to replace your master cylinder. Still a mystery how this came off, I wasn't able to remove mine without removing the foot pedal completely, nothing to do with the spring.

I believe I finally figured it out. I ordered a used master cylinder and followed the manual for adjusting the foot brake level and I think I'm set. Thank you so much @Mirius for your input. Very helpful, couldn't thank you enough m8!
