I have decided l may as well fit this kit to my 2019 Duke 390, although l have gained more confidence l can still only get my toes down when the bike is stationary.
The fork springs look easy enough but how do l change the shock spring? I’ve got spring compressors but they are car ones and look to be too large.
Is there a special tool l need to buy in order to do this job? There’s no local KTM dealer even if l wanted to let them do it.
Also, at £200 for the basic first service l hate to think what they would charge to do this job.

I just took my shock to a local bike suspension specialist. Charged me £10 to swap the spring and took 10 minutes max.
Any bike shop that does suspension in-house should be able to help you.
