I'm expecting delivery of my bike towards the end of next week and was wandering how other members on here have ran/worn the new engines in.

Also, is there a procedure in the manual?

Any help appreciated

The way I did is - good amount of gear changes, vary the RPM while sometimes hitting all the way up to 8000RPM. Early change of engine oil and oil filter at 320kms.
Worked fine for me.
Warm up the bike during the first start of the day for a couple of minutes and do not let the bike overheat. Using a good amount of engine braking in the lower gears helps.
Good luck!

Thanks Sid, at what point could the bike be classed as fully ran in? The point at which you can ride it however you like whenever you like? Thanks

Well, I dont think we can pin point a common odometer reading for all, on reaching which we could say that 'it's been run in' - varies from bike to bike. Having said that, on completing the three services, you should be able to rev it as hard and as high as you wish since the bike would have seen three changes of oil(with metal shavings) and the miles would have piled up.
