Back when I was first starting out, SnapOn was the only brand that had the option of a flank drive, so I still have all of those. But you could buy a whole semester's worth of High Ed books on what they wanted for 3 or 4 wrenches over 24 mm...
So I actually settled for the Craftsmans between 13/16 and 1 inch, the Matco bent-head slim wrenches between 3/4 and 1-1/16 inches, and from 21 to 27 mm I simply picked up the open/box wrenches from the Home Depot collection LOL, as long as they were true moly steel.
But I also favor the Gearwrench short ratcheting wrenches, with an open end at the other, because they are so economical and trustworthy in tight spaces. And I also have a set of the original Mac double box end wrenches; same size on both ends, but offset 7.5 degrees to skirt Snap-On's rage with the 'patented 10 degree offset head' [echo, echo, echo] fluff. Did I mention I really don't tolerate salesmen well?

But, yeah, stuff like that. I think I probably ought to stop before I accidentally start waxing poetic (because the list gets a bit occupationally indulgent)... but Interesting question, none the less. Thanks chief, I really enjoy learning about other peoples' perspectives.
