Believe it or not... a lot of it is also caused by the intake system resonance. Take a look at the picture I attach here -- the upper 2 patterns are with the upper airbox cover removed; the lower one is with the cover in place. The model on the dyno is a 2019 Duke 390, no mods, stock exhaust, stock controller.

If you also wanna see what is going on with the A/F ratios during these dyno runs, reference the following thread and scroll down.

This is the precise reason I installed a DNA top filter in combination with my stock lower filter. (y)

Don’t confuse the Duke gen 2 with the Duke gen 1 or RC...
Good point.

but it is kinda funny how they all display the same sinusoidal-wonk, isn't it.

And Noeserd definitely is riding a D390 he's thinking about moderate tweaks to, isn't he.

Hi, i have a 2022 390 and i want to install fuelx to fix the lower revs.
i have a stock exhaust because noise is heavily regulated and i don't want police to stop me everytime they see me

Also, here's Gray Area's dyno run using the P-KT3N20-S2 I was referring to.
See the similarity? In regards to the effect?

Truth be told, I was actually frightened by the prospect of future financial woes as a child -- and of course by all those villagers with the pitchforks and torches -- so it usually takes a whole lot to convince me I might be on the right track to something that will actually benefit me.

Then of course I pulled the trigger...
and bought 2...
plus the service kit.

So while one is cleaning and drying and all that nonsense I'm back on the road.

Oh yeah -- wOO-hOO!!
[thanks for letting me talk dad]

Oh shoot, i forgot, sorry...

So an open lid could fix it
not what i said.
I'm just saying all the information I am able to obtain points me toward this helping.

I also stated
I installed a DNA top filter in combination with my stock lower filter
In other words, I'm sticking with the stock paper lower filters, and just augmenting the flow, and reducing the inherent box resonances, by installing the DNA cover filter.

I won't ride in the rain like that, though.

Blue is the stock tune
Yeh...
I'd personally need to see more real world sources before I would even think about believing propaganda from a hesh-bent-to-market bad actors' sales advert. jus sayin'.
it takes an awful lot to convince me someone's claims are on the up-and-up.
plus, i'm rly not so eager to make a bunch of impulsive and crappy decisions with my coin.

hope i haven't confused the point(s).

Hornet 750 will enter my market in 1 or 2 months so i might upgrade
funny you say that...

for the last couple of days, I just can't get that 2023 Speed Triple RS outta my head (but they're all pretty much gone?)

then of course I settle out a bit and i realize -- i really did buy this bike because I knew i was gonna have hella fun on it.

no regrets.
