Clutch lever removal help

So actually got time to swap out the levers tonight but is there a trick to getting the couch lever out. I have the bolt out but cannot get the lever out far enough to remove the cable. Help

False alarm, found the sensor screws and bang. Super easy

Have you removed the neutral cut-out switch form the underside of the clutch lever assy ? Winding the cable adjuster in as far as it will go will help give a little more cable slack. If you need a bit more give in the cable, grab the throwout lever on the engine itself with a pair of pliers and rotate it clockwise a little while pulling the clutch lever out at the same time.

Thanks for the notes Mariner. I pulled the clutch in and used a C clamp to hold in on the case side . Then took those tiny screws out, yikes. So much nicer look. To rainy to test ride.
