I used a one-sided razor blade and lots of Goo-Gone. Worked well.
I used an Exacto knife with a curved blade and a piece of cardboard with a piece of a plastic poster frame to create a straightedge that followed the shape of the bodywork. I took like seven light passes with the blade on the right side, but the vinyl is very thin and I ended up grooving the plastic. Its right at the end of the remaining portion of the decal so you have to look for it to find it, but I only took two or three passes on the left side and didn't do as much damage. After the decals were peeled off, a little Goof Off (I prefer it over Goo Gone) to remove the old glue and she shines like a black diamond. I am not sure if I'll keep the tail decals, but for now they don't bother me.

Lookin' good in da hood, Hank !! I need to grow a pair and do mine too : )

Be gentle and precise, its not difficult but its not hard to cut into the plastic. I did a little damage but it doesn't bother me too much, I like a little rat-bikeness in a motorcycle but others like perfect tupperware on their rides.

did an oil change, running royal purple 20-50 and k&n filter, also retensioned the chain, and went through the first service check list, . all that's left is to do a valve check tomorrow and first service is done.

Please tell us a bit about the valve check goes...pics would be really nice, and if you figure out how to do this without removing the engine that would be even better!

No worries Brother, thanks for putting it up. Finding "tighties" in a world of "loosies" is a miracle...

Yeah after reading all the posts with adding shims I was ready to have to do the same. I was pleasantly surprised on the fit and shipping time from China (10 days). They feel really nice as well. Did a 180mi ride last Saturday with my bro on his supermoto.
