Is anyone else here who thinks the duke would look better on bigger rear tires?

I think the rear tires look really slim looking at the bike from behind.

The stock rear tire size is 150/60 but it looks like the swing arm has enough space to add 5mm on each side. Maybe this would be enough space to fit a tire size 160/60.

Any thoughts? Would this be possible? :)
Yes it would be possible. will handle much better . I did that to my duke.

My thoughts on bigger tyres relates to performance. More fuel consumed, less flickability, % of HP lost and $ comparison im not sure but it would probably add some more at purchase time.
The bikes designed around this tread size, others on here have fitted a larger tyre size so Im sure they will give you a comparison.
Just out of curiosity, how often do you look at your rear tyre when your riding the bike? ;)
I own a 390 aswell and im honest, the rear tyre really is way too narrow. I might not see it while riding but others do....

Are you asking because you want to impress people with a wider rear tyre or do you think the wider tyre will improve handling? I suspect you are leaning towards the first and not considering why KTM intentionally chose a tyre which is normally fitted to sports bikes.

Currently riding a 160/60 and I love it. I’m on a gpr right now and that’s the only reason I don’t like it. But I want to get a 160 in a road 6. People say it hurts mobility, I think it gives you more performance because you have more security in those hard leans at higher speeds. To make it feel as aggressive you have to be going faster, but overall the bigger tire gives and easier ride.
